Swede Pilgrim

This recreation of ‘Scott Pilgrim Vs The World’ was filmed for Swede Fest 7 and like the movie itself did not garner a nomination for Best Visual Effects.

A very good effort though. Love Lady Patel and the cut out sound effects. Those were exactly the kind of gags I pulled when I used to make amateur movies as a kid.

Check out the very cheap and equally cheerful ‘Scott Pilgrim’ by Heather McLane.

That said, it’s not quite as cheap as the towel festival that is Mr HomemadeFilms1.

The McLanes (and their crew) totally rock.  Their swedes just keep getting better and better.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. It was a blast to film the swede, which is the fourth one we’ve made for Swede Fest, the only festival for sweded films (that we know of).

Thanks also to the amazing Edgar Wright for posting the video. This is seriously one of the coolest things that could happen for swedes and sweding.

The blow-up doll is a nice touch. It’s impossible to watch that and not smile.

  7. This is really good. Having said that, I played it with the volume muted, and I heard the movie audio in my head as I watched it. Strange?
