Scott Pilgrim Vs. Forbidden Planet! London, UK Signing Announced

Hey there London, will be with you on New Year’s Eve’s Eve at Forbidden Planet. I think my third signing there. Look forward to seeing those of you who can make it out.

Thursday 30 December 17:30 - 18:30

London Megastore
179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, WC2H 8JR

Forbidden Planet are delighted to announce that director EDGAR WRIGHT will be signing the DVD & BluRay release of the smash-hit movie SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD at the Forbidden Planet Megastore, 179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London WC2H 8JR on Thursday 30th December 5:30 – 6:30pm

From the comic books by Bryan Lee O’Malley, this is the level-up movie that brought Scott Pilgrim onto the big screen. He’s charming, he’s jobless, he plays bass for garage band Sex Bob-omb – and he’s just met the girl of his dreams. Now, her seven evil exes are coming to kill him. Scott Pilgrim vs the World is released on Blu-ray and two disc DVD on 27th December from Universal Pictures.

Edgar Wright is a genre-smashing creator as writer and director on ‘Hot Fuzz’, ‘Shaun Of The Dead’ and cult TV series ‘Spaced’. In Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, he brings to life the tale of one romantic slacker’s quest to power up with love – and the DVD release of the movie is absolutely packed with extras.

Due to time restaints, there may be limits on the number of items to be signed.

This title will be available at the signing or click here to pre-order. DVD | Blu-Ray

2-disc DVD… I don’t anyone who has a Blu-Ray player, so I am unable to finish the special features. (Okay, I might know one guy with a PS3…) However, I’m still glad I got the C-C-C-Combo Package!

I don’t mean to be a party pooper, but having to wait for three or more hours in a queue to get to see the director in the middle of winter is not a very appealing idea. I did wait three hours to have my SP book signed by Brian Lee at Forbidden planet, but that was during the summer. I will really have to consider this carefully, but will probably go, if weather permits.

I HAVE TO GO TO THIS! but you know, if perhaps you wanted to maybe bring along Bryan Lee O’Malley or say Michael Cera etc etc it might sweeten the deal… still coming though. will be epic.

Let me know if you dont one in Birmingham, I dont mind travelling there! I would take the 6 hour trip to london but did that once when I was younger to see Shigeru Miyamoto at virgin megastore and was disappointed when I was ony allowed to watch from a balcony and couldn’t get my Super Mario World signed :(
