That film was made the year I was born.
I was working at a single house movie theater Christmas '76 when Dino's “King Kong” was released. I probably have that film (& Jessica Lange) memorized. “Everybody gonna cry when my Kong dies!”
I think I prefer the Fay Wray one the best. Stop motion KK really had those crazy eyes.

Why would a DVD cover for an older film say “Introducing”? Did they sneak her into the film in post-post production?
