So glad we finally got this footage out there where it belongs.

      when’s dvd in the shop?

or for us pov-meisters, whens it on telly? proper telly please?!

  2. Nadine says:

As usual, your joy for film is contagious. ‘Caring for characters’ is not something I hear much these days. Wanting to BE the characters, yes.
Thanks for the reminder that there is art and life in the world, not just marketing.

  3. SarahAC says:

“I can assure you this is not the least bit amusing”
Actually, it is. And very interesting too.
Saw Part 1 yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Looking forward to watching Part 2 now.

  4. joel vallie says:

I look forward to seeing this one day. Saludos des de Mexico!

  5. Alison says:

This was super fun. Thanks! My favorite line will always be, “A naked American man stole my balloon!”

  6. pieface says:

    found it!
can’t get it up on youtube but there’s a clip called ‘richard curtisland’ – made me think of it in the bit where you talked about the cosyvision view of london/britain that some foreign films have.

v funny if you can get to see it (from ‘monkey dust’)

  7. Red says:

That was a great interview! Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

  8. pieface says:

self funded – my admiration has just gone up ten fold. def on my to buy list.

i’m so glad you said ‘brain’ at the end of that sentence after the long pause!

  9. Slick says:

This is easily one of the BEST interviews I’ve ever seen with you. Of course, you are discussing one of my top five flicks of all time, so that doesn’t hurt. I’m so very happy that this surfaced online (I know Paul was hoping that would happen), I was bummed when I found out it was only for UK telly initially.

  10. Nick says:

Seems like this documentary is going to be quite good. It was cool watching you talk about the film.

My first experience with An American Werewolf in London was a brief one. My dad was flipping through the channels and stopped it on the part when David is first changing into the wolf. Scared the shit out of me. He changed it as soon as the scene was done.

  11. Amber says:

    Enjoyable interview :)

American Werewolf in London, one of my fav horror movies

  12. Sarah5636 says:

I’ve got my ticket for the Friday just to see this, and the film on the big screen. I don’t think your interview is in the 98mins version, still gonna be ace looking forward to it :)

Thanks for the clips Ed :D
