Seems like this documentary is going to be quite good. It was cool watching you talk about the film.

My first experience with An American Werewolf in London was a brief one. My dad was flipping through the channels and stopped it on the part when David is first changing into the wolf. Scared the shit out of me. He changed it as soon as the scene was done.

This is easily one of the BEST interviews I’ve ever seen with you. Of course, you are discussing one of my top five flicks of all time, so that doesn’t hurt. I’m so very happy that this surfaced online (I know Paul was hoping that would happen), I was bummed when I found out it was only for UK telly initially.

    found it!
can’t get it up on youtube but there’s a clip called ‘richard curtisland’ - made me think of it in the bit where you talked about the cosyvision view of london/britain that some foreign films have.

v funny if you can get to see it (from ‘monkey dust’)

As usual, your joy for film is contagious. ‘Caring for characters’ is not something I hear much these days. Wanting to BE the characters, yes.
Thanks for the reminder that there is art and life in the world, not just marketing.
