  6. joel vallie says:

All I can say is that I wish I was there.

  7. Sarah5636 says:

Yay for vblogs :) I always liked the look of that house in the comics i like it even more now i know its made out of gingerbread brilliant ha ha ;) Sonicboom looks like a cool record store i’d love to make it to Toronto one day & visit all these locations :)

Thanks to Dan for another ace vblog already looking forward to the next one :D

  8. pieface says:

yeah that house is nice, reminds me of somewhere…it’ll come to me in a week or so!

i’m off to france next week – should i look out for any french rarities over there edgar (like Le Fuzz or Scott Pilgrim in french, something bit difficult to get hold of)?

fab blog, of course! nice to see the moment you took one of the photos captured.

  9. Red says:

Alright, this is a weird tangent, but I happened to notice it when the book was being flipped through in the vblog. If you look on the back page of Volume 2, there is a picture of a young O’Malley and what looks exactly like Mr. Owl! And yes, I know I’m a dork.

  10. Harrison says:

Is this anything to do with you? : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQpoZ2NfSJ4

It says an ‘Edgar Wright Production’ and look some what similar to ‘Dead Right’.

Love the blogs btw. Will the 6th book be out to coincide with the release of the film?

    cheers xxx

  11. bonnie gray says:

    HI!
Thanks for immortalizing my apt/balcony on St Clair Ave W. in your video blog – very cool.
My landlord might enjoy the possibility of increased property value ;)

Not sure where you are with casting, (having just played Hamlet’s mom) it would be a blast to play mom to Michael/Scott -check my page at http://www.thecwb.com – I actually look like I could be his mom…..

thanks again for the great footage

  12. Sam says:

    guest starring Andre the Giant

  13. Amber BG says:

    Its all in the details!!

This vlog made my day, Thank you Edgar!!

  14. Red says:

What an awesome vblog! Thank you for putting these out even while you’re completely frantic with work. We really appreciate it!

  15. Miles says:

These blogs are great Edgar, you’re an inspiration sir. I’m getting very excited about this film now!

    Keep up the amazing work.

    Miles x

  16. Rahentho says:

Damn, that coat was so full of win that it broke the hanger – THE DAMN HANGER!!!!
At the Sonic Boom part of the vidya I couldn’t stop staring the CAtD poster… I guess I haven’t heard a single word of Edgar in that part too…
    Also, Knives Chau…

  17. Mishka says:

You wrote on the books! Don’t you know that you CAN’T write on books?!

It grieves me so to see people writing on books… well, unless they’re old books, like text books or collections of essays, and you’re writing responses to someone else’s writing… then it’s more like a literary conversation, even though the person you’re corresponding to is likely dead…

No, I’ve weired myself out. I’ll leave.

  18. Slick says:

The toilet pirate thing nearly killed me. Oh and, “…but the owners of the house aren’t witches.” I’m probably misquoting, but you know what I mean. Hilarious! I bet O’Malley feels exactly as Frank Miller did the first time he saw Mickey Rourke in full Marv makeup. I bet he’s getting chills at times. I would!

  19. Braeden G says:

I met Bryan this past weekend at TCAF. Very nice guy, willing to sign all my stuff with a smile on his face.

  20. SarahAC says:

“Film me running off” LOL. I love it.
Yay for another great video! It’s all toooo exciting!
And I got to hear Knives/Amy’s voice, which is what I wanted to hear. Perfect!

  21. Steven says:

    02:09 self reference = greatest. SHE’S PERFECT!

  22. A.T says:

AHH. So many bits out the book.
    love it

  23. Matthew P says:

Oh man! Oh man! Just when I thought I couldn’t get MORE excited for this film, here Edgar comes with an amazing tease at some of the locations from the film… It all looks so great!

I have to admit, I was a late-comer into the Scott Pilgrim scene, but after reading book 5 (that was the only one Barnes and Noble had), I rushed out and tracked down the other 4. I have read them all twice and will probably read them all again within the month. They are just amazing books and I’m REALLY excited to see what Edgar does with this adaptation. Keep up the good work!

  24. Simon says:

    Knives is sooo perfect!
Everything in this blog is perfect!
I need the movie to come out NOW!!!
(No, I need the last Volume to come out now, and then the movie a day later)
    Arg.

  25. Nate the Great says:

    O’Malley! Wright! Good stuff.

  26. Tim says:

Nice one, Mr. Wright! I really need to get these books…But I can’t find them anywhere round here…

    • bonnie says:

not sure where “round here” is – but I saw them out at the Indigo in the Manulife Centre (if you happen to be in Toronto….) if you’re not – I think Indigo bookstores let you order online. They just might not have delivery staff on rollerblades….

      • oh says:

or, you know, your local comic book shop. ESPECIALLY in Toronto, but anywhere you are that would be your best bet if not online.

        • ryan says:

There have tons of copies at The Beguiling in Toronto
any self-respecting comic shop will have them too

    • Cordelia says:

I got all mine from Amazon.co.uk
I would have preferred to have got them from an actual book shop but when they arrived and I read them I was pleased to see that Amazon was actually mentioned in the books so it all turned out PRETTY NICELY.

  27. Lobsterdeth says:

I don’t get it, is Bryan tall or are you short, Edgar?

  28. Marvin says:

Edgar, get some sleep. I’m willing to offer my services while your boost up on energy.
