More of a Snow Cap girl myself… maybe it’s because my kids always try to steal my Junior Mints…

  2. Juan Zombie says:

“It was a really small mint…It was a Junior Mint!”

  3. Alexandra says:

I like the receipt! It’s refreshing that such a successful man doesn’t stomp around with a sense of entitlement. It’s easier to admire someone who isn’t a legend in his own mind!

  4. BuckyTodd says:

the owners of the Bloor should be tarred and feathered, and publicly shunned for ever charging admission to edgar. i would think a free admission pass for LIFE is in order!

    • edgar wright says:

I asked for a stub actually, as a memento.

      • wendy says:

I mentioned this above but stubs fade with time :( . They should be printed on acid free/ fade resistant paper…acid paper isn’t good lol. Just thought I’d warn you. It won’t stop me from collecting them but it sucks bad.
Hope your filming is going smoothly.

is anyone a RSS guru? ewar’s myspace blogs use to show up in my rss feeds (using thunderbird) but this site is just a blankie. and u can keep ur jnr mints… i’ve got hobnobs!

  6. Melissa Kay says:

Junior Mints…yummy. I used to collect movie stubs too, I should get back to it since I am collecting tea bag, not the tea bag itself.

  7. Nadine says:

I am liking the French mints. Go Quebec. I’m not from Quebec.

  8. Joel Vallie says:

So today you showed 2 great movies. Wish I was there. I hope every one there appreciated those movies as much as I would have.

  9. Sarah5636 says:

Hope you enjoyed your day off Ed :) Ive already got a cinema double bill planned to see Adventureland & Drag Me To Hell at the end of May looking forward to that.

Good Luck for this week Ed hope all goes well on set :D

The Fast and the Bi-Curious! Whoooo.
Oh, I’ve started buying Junior Mints now when I go to a movie theater. You have a strange influence on my fragile little mind. The first time I did, I was seeing MILK and when I was walking to my seat, I kid you not, I had four people make comments similar to this: “JUNIOR MINTS! MY FAVORITE!” and “Will you share?” What have you started, Edgar? For God’s sake, how do you stop it?!

  11. Cheryl Black says:

Junior Mints are THE ultimate in movie theatre confections (or any other confections for that matter)! Too cool, Edgar.

  12. Jenn says:

Oh wait…Edgar this is not good. With your “celebrity” one would think that you should not have receipts…well unless you insisted! They should have been honored to have you there, that alone would increase any ticket sale for the lowly public. I’m just saying….I’m totally biased .

  13. Zadkiel says:

The Fast Adventure in the Land of the Furious!!! Mr. Wright did you sneak the same box of Junior Mints for all 3 films?!

  14. Henry says:

“Amusement Tax” is actually the PST. In Toronto we call our taxes weird names sometimes. “Harper Tax”, “McGuinty Tax”.

  15. SarahAC says:

Glad to see you’ve got a bit of time for R & R Edgar.
I’m just hoping that the R & R actually involved going to see a couple of films – not just picking up bits of rubbish outside the cinemas ;-)

  16. Jenn says:

Damn it Edgar….you are having too much fun! Stop it!!
No, actually don’t, keep it up! And eat more Jr Mints! Yum! Makes me think of a Seinfeld episode. As always thanks for including us fans in all your excitement!!!
    Cheers!

  17. Vaah says:

    “Amusement Tax”

What has the world come to D:

  18. Cordelia says:

It’s 4am and this made me feel better about not being able to sleep
    Those ‘Junior’ things look good
I saw the trailer for ‘Adventureland’ ages ago and forgot about it
I want to see more Bill Hader action after just watching ‘Superbad’

  19. Amber BG says:

Mooovie stub tickets.. :) I use to collect my movie stubs for years but stopped.. I started doing so again…

Junior mints.. they are a must

How was the Chan viewing at the Bloor ?

    • wendy says:

The other day (while moving) I found my Batman Forever stub, it was almost all the way faded. That sucks they fade but it’s fun.

      • Amber BG says:

they do… I lost my Hot Fuzz stub :(

        • wendy says:

Hey, I just realised..you can just take a picture of your stub like Edgar…fading problem solved :D . Thats sucks you lost your Hot Fuzz stub..maybe it will show up in a jacket pocket..if it does take a picture!

  20. Carrie says:

    Adventureland was GREAT, yeah?

  21. pieface says:

is that…3 different cinemas in one day?!

so what are junior mints (i’ve never been to america or canada) – are they like poppets?

i see the cinema is $13. think thats pretty favourable compare to uk? i know london is £11 if you’re lucky.

    • Red says:

Junior Mints are blobs of mint goo covered in chocolate. Mmmmmmm

    • wendy says:

The ticket might have been $13 but ask him how much the Junior mints were lol. Unless he snuck them in….under his beenie or something ; ).

Junior Mints are ok but those York mints in the tin are amazing….I think they’re new.

      • pieface says:

so chewy (like mentos) not fondanty? hmm not sure i’d like that.

        thanks though!

        • wendy says:

Not chewy at all, it’s soft/mushy. The dark chocolate on the outside holds it together, it’s like a mushy peppermint patty. If you like peppermint pattys then you’ll like them..same thing basicly.

          • pieface says:

that sounds like a poppet (in the uk) type thing, in which case i can see that would be nice. if i ever go to canada or the us will have to try them!

  22. blagh says:

    It’s chocolate, it’s peppermint, it’s very refreshing!

  23. Marissa says:

I saw not one, but two Hot Fuzz DVDs this weekend with “Movie Money” to go see Fast and the Furious.

  24. Emily says:

Who’s gonna turn down a Junior Mint? It’s chocolate, it’s

    peppermint– it’s *delicious*!

I really want to see Adventureland.

  25. Alec says:

ahhh! I want to see Adventureland. But I gotta check out the D-Box version of Fast and Furious first :P

  26. Chris says:

    It’s chocolate, it’s peppermint, it’s delicious! It’s very refreshing!

  27. Red says:

How can you possibly have time for movies?!? Of course, there’s always time for Junior Mints!

  28. Ren Long says:

Nothing beats seeing a movie with a box full of Junior Mints.

  29. Ian says:

Thoughts on Fast and the Furious?
