“The World’s End is hilarious, exciting and unexpectedly moving.” JOSS WHEDON

Prepare for the wildest of all reunions, as the creators of ‘Shaun of the Dead’ and ‘Hot Fuzz’ reunite for the epic conclusion to Britain’s best loved trilogy. From SIMON PEGG, NICK FROST and director EDGAR WRIGHT comes an explosive thrill ride of action and hilarious comedy in THE WORLD’S END – released on Blu-ray™ and DVD - both with UltraViolet™ - and digital download from 19th November [North America] & 25th November [UK & Eire], 2013. Now fans can truly watch The World’s End anywhere, on any device!

The latest instalment in the laugh-out-loud trilogy features the ultimate reunion - one night, five friends, twelve bars and a bid to reach the final ‘Worlds End’ pub…only the strongest will survive. Joining the all-star cast for their most exciting and adrenaline fuelled experience yet are Martin Freeman (Love Actually, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey), Rosamund Pike (Die Another Day, Wrath of the Titans), Paddy Considine (Tyrannosaur, The Bourne Ultimatum), Eddie Marsan (Hancock, Sherlock Holmes) Pierce Bronson (James Bond, Mamma Mia!) and Bill Nighy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz).

Having devoted his entire life to partying, Gary King (Pegg) is determined to fulfil his lifelong dream of completing ‘the golden mile’, a legendary drinking marathon in his home town of Newton Haven. Using dirty tactics, Gary manages to convince his four childhood best friends to take part in the challenge, despite them having grown into successful and mature adults. Meet teetotal lawyer Andy Knightley (Frost), architectural consultant Steven (Considine), high-flying estate agent Oliver O-Man (Freeman) and reserved car dealer Peter (Marsan).

After the first few identical pubs on the ‘golden mile’, a mysterious atmosphere surrounds Gary and the group and the night soon spirals out of control. In the Cross Hands pub, a slapstick fight soon breaks out in the men’s toilets unveiling ‘The Blanks’ - ass-kicking aliens disguised in human form who are threatening to take over the town, and the rest of the world! The reunion soon becomes much more than a pub crawl and a bigger challenge than ever imagined as they embark on the craziest mission of a lifetime.
Don’t miss the final slice of the ‘Cornetto’ trilogy THE WORLDS END, packed with outrageous humour, explosive action, bizarre brawls and side-splitting one-liners, as it is released on Blu-ray™ and DVD - both with UltraViolet™ - and digital download from 19th November [North America] & 25th November [UK & Eire], 2013.

    • Excellent and nothing to say more when they have the official information, so much the eyes and the expectations placed on it.

    • SarahAC

For any Aussies reading this - the DVD & Blu Ray are released here on the 5th of December. Not sure whether we get the same special features or not though. And no sign of the Trilogy Box Set here. This is why international shipping and region free players are your friends!

It’s possible to have it in France?

    • Chris Gann

Are there UV codes for all three films or just for TWE?

Any word on a Reel Heroes steelbook?

    • Harbulot Loran

      And for France ? 🙁

    • The_Silent_Shadow

I didn’t know about this until now! My favourite film series out so soon! I was waiting for the box set instead of getting The World’s End separately and it was killing me! The World’s End is my favourite film of all time, so this has left me dying with want! Edgar, you are just brilliant. The epitome of brilliance…

    • Profpieface

Ooh. Clicking on the link for the DVD, it lists quite a few extras - more than the two mentioned above. Yay! 🙂

    • Isaac Zammit

Great:) The blu-ray releases look great. I just wished that they would had released a Reel Heroes version The World’s End too. I have the BLU-RAY reel heroes version of SotD and Hot Fuzz too, so they would looked really cool next to each other. But whatever it’s just a very small nitpick.

It’s just incredible that in my country (Malta), they will wait till October 16th to release it! At least I will finally see it and then buy.

    • Sarah5636

Already got my pre order in can’t wait to watch the extras. Would love to have seen a World’s End on tour extra like Fuzzball Rally that was ace 🙂

    • Steve Bessant

Gonna be honest Mr Wright, I’m holding out for something a little bit more special than a cardboard sleeve for the Cornetto Trilogy boxset. It’s taking all my will power to not buy The World’s End steelbook.

Do the trilogy proud, make it EPIC.

      • I don’t have any say in what type of packaging there is sir.

    • Profpieface

Am I being thick - does the DVD only have the making of and the commentary?
What if I buy the trilogy or the blue steel version?

    • John The Mod

Still kinda depressed that I didn’t get to see The World’s End in theatres. I was really looking forward to it, you know? But at least now I can buy the trilogy on DVD and have a marathon in the dorm lounge. And it’ll be amazing.

    • Vanessa Tertrin

Exactly what I was waiting for ! I’m not sure I’m gonna be able to deal with all that awesomeness in just one box though…

      Naaa, of course I will. Pre-order ! Pre-order !!

    • MrFilm

I’ve been downloading and printing off the interactive screenplays of SotD and HF. Will this filmmaker be able to do the same with TWE? e.g by buying the Blu-ray trilogy?

    • Vincent Grotesque

Finally caving in to get a blu-ray player just for that box set, all jokes aside.

    • Bella Solveig Curcio

I cannot contain my excitement. I’m expecting only the fried-est of gold.

    • SarahAC

Brilliant! Can’t wait to get my hands on the Blu-ray box set. Any word on which of the Hot Fuzz & Shaun extras will be on the blu-rays in the box set?

Can’t wait! Had the great pleasure to see a sneak preview of The World’s End / Q&A with the boyz in Boston MA. (Although, I’m still waiting for an answer to my question about the obvious Driving Miss Daisy parallels… 😉 Now looking forward to the plethora of features on the blu-ray. And, just happy overall about getting to use ‘plethora’ in a sentence. So, there’s that. Boo-yah!

    • Aislinn Prior

That’s pretty ideal for a slice of fried gold, actually.

    • Connor

Does the Cornetto Trilogy boxset come with all the extras? 🙂

      • Yes indeed.

        • Connor

          Fan-bloody-tastic!
Just put in the pre-order ;D

    • GeekFurious

Loved it. We voted it best summer movie of 2013 in our little cast of pods.
