Last Call with Carson Daly | Edgar Wright and Bryan Lee O’Malley in Toronto

See the sights of Scott Pilgrim’s Toronto!

Gasp at the height difference between me and Bryan Lee O’Malley!

Marvel at how hungover I am! (This was shot at 8am after the Bloor party ended at 2.30am the night before)

Please enjoy this location report from very heart of Pilgrim land and see the legendary Lucas Lee ghostboard for real.

This was fun to shoot. Hangover notwithstanding.

Viva Canada, my home and native land!

Edgar, I don’t know if you saw my tweet to you last night, but I wrote a little bit about Scott Pilgrim and how it was almost tailor made for me.

    Dear Edgar:

First: Your films are amazingly super fantastic. Especially SCOTT PILGRIM. I’m in my forties, and I think it’s one of the most fun movies I’ve ever seen.

Second: Help! My DVD is defective! It’s cutting off the text on the sides of the screen! I know I’m not the only one…others on IMDB are citing the problem with Blu-Ray as well.

What can I do? I want ALL of SCOTT PILGRIM!

    Thanks.

The dvd is fine. It’s your TV that does that. Most TVs trim the edges of all of your movies so they’ll fit you’re screen. That’s right! You’ve been missing countless frames of your favorite films! However, computers that read DVDs will not do this, so try watching this on your computer. You should be able to see everything now. It’s a good headphone movie too.

ps. Thanks for giving out apology hugs to those of us (myself included) who didn’t get into the Bloor screening despite waiting out in the cold for hours. While it did break my heart to get all the way to the front, only to be the first to get turned away, your kindness was appreciated.

For the record? We would have happily sat on the floor. Stupid capacity laws.

This is overdue but better late the never right?
