Go Kim! The voice of sense and reason of Sex Bob-Omb.
Can’t wait for the rest, hope to hear “No Fun” and “Indefatigable” as well.

love it!111 Like others have said, hopefully there will more “videos” of the rest of sex bob-omb’s songs. Also hopefully of crash and boy’s “We hate you, please die” as well (personal favorite. Anyway, seen the film twice and hoping to see it again this weekend. Thanks for the all the hard work and care you and everyone else put into making such a rad film for all of us to enjoy. Definitely one of my favorites. Seriously, the first time I saw it, and watching Scott and Ramona go off into subspace with Beck’s “Ramona” all queued up, was thoroughly thoroughly satisfied with a big grin on my face…

I am in love with this movie; I’ve watched it for the first time with my 22 yr. old sister and the second time with my 14 yr. old brother and they both loved it as well.
I do not understand why this movie wasn’t as successful as I anticipated.
I think this is one of my favorite movies and the music in this film is so fantastic. I had to download the soundtrack because I couldn’t get the songs out of my head and I didn’t want to. I can’t wait to own it on dvd!

I saw this three times. I literally looked between couch cushions for loose change, and I ended up paying in quarters the last time.
It was never not funny, it was never not amazing, I want to see it a fourth, but if I do, I’ll be homeless…. recession
I’m sorry everyone who didn’t see it is an idiot, or dead inside, or just a plain waist. You guys deserved more. There was so much hard work and love put into this project, and it deserved more. Thank you for making this movie. Can not wait for the DVD.

Me too. Johnny Simmons is a grade A scene stealer.
I still love that moment when Young Neil screws up the lyric and that line cracks me up every time I listen to the song.

Thanks for making films Mr Wright.
I saw Scott pilgrim for the first time last night, and it was beautiful. I just hope you get to continue to do your thing for as long as you want to do it.
Thanks man.

Edgar, just wanted to say that I LOVE your new movie, and of course will buy it on dvd. Thank you, your team and the whole cast for such a great, great job with this film. I’m telling everyone I know about it!

The acoustic bass has a pickup that is being overdriven.

I love Johnny Simmons in this video, he’s my fave along with Kieran Culkin in the film.
I’ve been to see the film 3 times so far, the 1st time my head was just spinning, 2nd time i enjoyed it even more knowing what was coming so i could pay attention to some of the details. I love the bit just before the opening credits start & the camera is pulling back when Sex Bob-Omb are playing, makes me think of Time Bandits everytime (that’s probably just me though). I remembered you saying a Canadian director cameos in the film & on my 3rd viewing i spotted Don Mckellar.
Scott’s Gideon the cat mug at the start makes me smile & also the squirrel on the roof when Knives & Scott are walking down the road, there’s loads of little things like that i love, i can’t wait to own it on bluray so i can spot even more of them.
The film looks beautiful, & i love the atmosphere of the movie it sucks me in very time. I can’t decide if the Gideon or Katayanagi twins fight is my fave. Looking forward to seeing it again, thanks for making an awesome movie i will enjoy for years to come, only you could pull off a film like this Ed

The only fault, well I say fault, baffling thing about the Scott Pilgrim film that myself and a good friend identified was the use of an acoustic guitar in this song (on screen). We get that the rickenbacker stereo bass can do the whole overdrive thing pretty sweetly. So we could only conclude that the acoustic guitar was used aesthetically? maybe…I don’t know, I just watched the film and subsequently wanted to get my geek on. geek geek geek.

SEX BOB-OMB ROCK ULTIMATE!!!! They should release a Sex Bob-Omb album, I would definitely buy it. Love the song too that and threshold are my favourite songs on the album

Micheal Cera is like a young Beck Hansen dont you think?

A kind of “What if Patel didn’t show up” alternate take, haha. Seen the movie three times but nothing NOTHING beats the premier with you three guys afterward.

Everywhere I go; everyone I meet gets a huge helping of my “Scott Pilgrim is a game changer” speech. DVD sales will make up for the stupid box office, but we need everyone to spread word-of-mouth so more game-changers can be made. That’s the truth, Ruth.
fan1243
so like, I had fun but how is it actually a game changer?

Yeah! Love Your Movie E

Loved this film. Love the soundtrack.

Great movie, needs more Steam for PC games but other then that i legitimately have 0 problems with this movie.

Rad video! Thanks for posting this. Any plans on making “Indefatigable” available somehow?
Zack
This is AWESOME. Can Edgar Wright do no wrong?
Joshwward
But Ramona seems to like the music yet she hates Scott’s music?
fan1243
she’s complicated…plus it messes up the plot.

I can’t wait more to see it here in México!

Love seeing more of Young Neil! Gonna see it for the 5th time tomorrow, then maybe again Thursday before it leaves the theatres!

Edgar I’d like to thank you for producing such a wonderful movie based off of an amazing indie comic. I have seen it 3 times with various family and friends. This will be one of my favourites for years to come as I can watch it time and time again.
I love the scene transitions when scott spaces and appears in the next scene. Out very nice old touch.

Can we please have the Cast go all Spinal Tap and perform live? Would headbutt a guy in the face and use the coins I gain from his impending explosion to fund this.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH U, AMERICA?!?
I felt like Knives at the beginning of this video when I saw this movie the first time. God bless you, Mr. Wright. May your DVD sales (at least) be out of this world.

I would like to echo Captain Goober’s comments.
I never see a flick in the theaters more than once. I’m seeing Scott Pilgrim vs. The World tonight for my fourth time. The fact the movie wasn’t given the appreciation it deserved makes me really sad. I hope the movie was able to break even from the EU’s showing. It might serve as a good standard what tasteless bastards we are in the US.
Thanks again for that wonderful flick
Aikon
I completely agree and do the same

A second vote for a video for Threshold. Having bought the soundtrack through iTunes, Threshold is now in high rotation for me. A fantastic tune.
I am also looking very much forward to the DVD release of this film. I have a feeling, based on Edgar’s previous films, that the commentary tracks are going to be amazing.

I really did enjoy ‘Scott Pilgrim’ a lot. The whiny and bratty snob in me can’t say that it’s the best I’ve seen this year, but it’s among the better ones. Leave it to Edgar Wright to give Cera an actual role that requires him to be more than just an awkward kid pining for a girl who is way out of his league.
Good on you, Wright. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched both Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead on repeat.
http://twitter.com/RadicalAdZ Adam Ragg
YEAH! Bring on a full length version of Threshold! Pleeeeeeease! XD
Captain Goober
Dear Mr. Wright (I have no idea where to write this so I will put it here),
I have seen Scott Pilgrim approximately three times and I can’t get over the fact that the money that it made wasn’t proportionate to how amazing it was. SP was one of the funniest and most beautiful movies I have ever seen. I can’t believe people would waste time watching action stars get it on or stupid parodies rather than watch 2 hours of pure bliss. You guys clearly worked so hard on this movie (not to mention the amazing music) and its disappointing you won’t be rewarded in kind. In conclusion, I want to apologize on behalf of America, because we are idiots who waste money on inferior entertainment. I’d also give you a big hug, but this is the internet…
-A big fan

I completely agree. I motorcycled from east to west coast a month before the movie and thought it was weird not many people knew about it. Well, over here in Florida we love it, and having a huge party at EXPCon to celebrate one of the best “fight musicals” of all time. I’m grateful a great adaption blessed this land.

Loved this song so much. In the movie, on the soundtrack, whatever.
Can’t wait for the Blu-ray. Just saw the movie for the third time tonight, and I think it might be my favorite film since Ghost World.

Any chance that we’ll see the full Black Sheep video on the ScottPilgrimTheMovie youtube account? I missed out on the pre-order of the album at iTunes, but I did pick it up on vinyl. I’ve seen the video on youtube, but the quality isn’t as good as the clips on ScottPilgrimTheMovie.
Or, I could just wait patiently until December to watch it as part of the extras on the blu-ray… heheh
Thank you again Edgar.

I would thoroughly enjoy the full “The Clash at Demonhead” performance as a bonus on the Blu-Ray. Also, any other deleted scenes?
This is a movie that I’d buy the theatrical cut as well as a director’s / extended cut.
I would also like to know where one could acquire the dream delivery sequence version of the Zelda Select Screen music. I believe it to have been composed and performed by two members of Supergrass, but I cannot find it anywhere. Despite the greatness of the film’s score, I was a bit disappointed that this song was not on there.

The bit where Young Neil sings the wrong words made me chuckle so much, because I do exactly the same thing. Even with my favourite bands and songs I’ve heard for the millionth time.

Get this stuff in Rock Band, NOW!
Maxtharan
its sad to say that sex bob-omb are the best new band i’ve heard this year, beck should put out the rest of his work and then take Michael Cera and the others on tour…they are really awesome.
kudos to beck for being such a musical master.

”Scott Pilgrim” the best film that i see in this year-its better that” Inception”and”Expendables”.Actually i’ m a big movie fan. That filing that i expect to have from watching “Expdbs” i get from ” Scott Pilgrim”.I live in Russia (and there are only 350 cinemas (in biggest country) that show ”Scott..” So i moved to another city called Kazan(situated in Tatarstan ..yeah,yeah i know) ’cause in town where i live their are no cinemas.SO in Kazan was only 3 cinemas that shows “Scott..”. I watched “Scott..” twice in two cinemas(first one was better) and have unforgettable fillings .Its truly better then “Dark Knight”.

I’ve seen Scott Pilgrim vs the World five times now. I will see it more once it “re-releases” in the discount theaters.
That said, I also enjoyed Inception – a totally different kind of movie. Inception was a great film, but it wasn’t an entertainment spectacle like SPvtW was.

Good ol’ blues-style innuendo! I had this in my head shortly before I got the idea for my deli sandwich-based innuendo lyrics. I look forward to seeing what else you put out!

Beck’s Sex Bob-omb tracks are just amazing. The soundtrack is really great, but I want more and so I hope that Beck puts out an album of all the material he wrote for Scott Pilgrim. Since I understand he wrote quite a bit of material in which wasn’t used in the movie.
http://twitter.com/TreesAreHeavy Mike Sieger
I just wanted to say “thank you”, to you and everyone else who made Scott Pilgrim. I’ve been pretty depressed lately, and your film gave me a much needed reprieve from real life. So, thanks again for giving me an hour and a half of enjoyment in my life.

Mr. Wright you’re the man.
http://www.edgarwrighthere.com Edgar Wright
Indeed.

To add to that, “We Are Sex Bob-Omb” coupled with the opening credits sequence was honestly one of my favourite openings to a movie ever.
http://sleepysamco.wordpress.com/ Sleepy Sam
So, does this mean we’re in for a bit more Clash at Demonhead? And maybe We Are Sex Bob-Omb that was replaced with the credits?
Red
Love it! I think I need to buy the soundtrack today.
