April Fool’s Tweet

So like most people on the internet I decided to be make a bunch of mischief with a bunch of porkies.

In the next 24 hours I will tweet a whole bunch of falsities. And one sole true tweet.

Then followed 12 solid hours of nonsense.

But which one was true?

After Avatar, How To Train Your Dragon and Clash Of The Titans, Scott Pilgrim will now undergo extensive reshoots to feature a winged steed.

Scott Pilgrim will be released in 3D cinemas, audience will pay 3D prices and wear 3D glasses. But (whispers) actual film will be in 2D.

Scott Pilgrim also features cameos from Bruce Willis and Governor Schwarzenegger.

Scott Pilgrim was shot in NYC doubling for Toronto. The CN tower and Honest Ed’s have been digitally inserted into the film at huge expense.

I just got more than six hours sleep for the first time this week.

Dwayne Johnson was originally cast as Scott Pilgrim and filmed half the movie before he had to drop out with a sprained elbow.

In Mission Impossible 4, @simonpegg’s character Benji Dunn will be replaced by Benji the dog to get the lucrative dog lovers demographic.

I was offered the chance to appear alongside Hugh Jackman and Will I Am in X Men Origins: Wolverine.

I have not read the Scott Pilgrim books, but plan to as soon as the film is finished. Have been busy. Hear they are good.

I am to direct a film where Emma Peel and Thor team up to save Earth. Behold the ‘Double Avengers’. (2D conversion)

I am responsible for 80 percent of the tweets about Justin Bieber.

It’s nearly noon, so time to stop my foolish April tweets before I get lynched. However…one of the last 13 tweets is absolutely true!

    I'm having more fun believing they're all true. It might be a good idea if you skip reading the Scott Pilgrim books as the film is pretty much done & start reading the Antman comics instead, trust me they are pretty good too. And nobody will notice Scott Pilgrim is really in 2D due to all the awesomeness on screen.

    I love the word "porkies".
    When I worked for an insurance company they told me to always be careful what I wrote in the claim files because once a staff member had been made to stand up in court and read out her notes from the file. She'd written "It would seem that our customer is telling porky-pies" XD

    The sleep is a fairly obvious fib. I don't believe for a second that you actually had more than six hours sleep.
