its starting to look more like anime/manga. though not complaining i would love to see SP be turned into a 6 episode OVA anime or cartoon.

Please pardon the off-topic comment, but is there any way to get my hands on a copy of the *screenplay* for Shaun of the Dead and/or Hot Fuzz? I'm a (minor) professional screenwriter and love to read the scripts for my favorite movies. I've never had this much trouble finding a script! I would sell my soul in exchange, but I work in Hollywood so you know I've hocked that already.

There's a dream sequence in the books that takes place as an anime, remember? It has Zelda influences, but Scott refers to the entire weirdness as something out of an anime. He's being asked "do you know the code?"

This is likely lifted from that point, which you really couldn't do unless it was actually done as an anime.
