That Aphrodite’s Child album is incredible. The best Christmas gift I ever got was the original Vertigo 2xLP set.

I haven't had the pleasure of listening to any of these CD's. Hell I haven't even heard of these.

I’m not sure there’s really any conflict between iPods and CDs. I buy CDs, rip them, and load the MP3s on my iPod. I play the CDs when I’m home. The audio from a CD played on a CD player is still better than anything you’ll get from an iPod.

I don't have an ipod either – thank there is another one, I thought it was only me!

It's nice just to buy cds/records (though cassettes are really hard to find)… We all lived without our iPods back in the day

the one in the top left is the most intriguing. and Ennio Morricone actually…!

I read a review of something called 'Jonny Trunk's Scrap Book' a collection of incidental music and movie cues. might be worth a look.

Have you heard 'the Valerie Project's re-scoring of 'Valerie and Her Week of Wonders'? I saw them perform it live with the film in Toronto, and it was surreal. A wonderful alternative viewing of an old 'Czech Flick'. But if you have the album, and a copy of the movie, and some patience, you can turn down the movie's volume, and line them up to replicate the live experience.

CDs are quaint? Oh dear. I still like records and cassettes!

I tried to use my Real 3D glasses to look at that album cover on the top right but it didn't work. I need some of those old skool red & blue 3D glasses.
