Yes, even I sometimes revisit old locations. Was entertaining a dear friend from across the pond, which was a good excuse to run around North London revisiting old haunts.

Here’s me outside the Spaced house, 23 Meteor Street itself. Shopping trolley nowhere to be seen.

Sandwiched somewhat amusingly between Friends and Frasier, was the first episode of SPACED on C4.

Am very touched by the various articles that have been printed and posted today.

And to celebrate further – here’s some yet unseen (on the web) footage of our 2007 reunion Q&A | Spaced on Stage, BFI – November 10th, 2007

Hot Fuzz screening in Wells

Hey kids, there’s a free outdoor screening in Wells, Somerset of HOT FUZZ tomorrow night (Weds) to support local industry. Go and see the film in my hometown, which stood in for Sandford itself. You can actually see the film in the very swan chasing location above. Which in itself is spitting distance from the Somerfields used in the film and the Bishops Palace which was used for the jogging scene and NWA meeting. So do go along if you’re nearby and support the City Of Wells. Jog on.

Hot Fuzz screening in Wells

  • Free open-air screening of Hot Fuzz in Wells, Somerset. Wednesday 23rd September, 2009

The City of Wells is famous for being featured in many a film and TV production, and not least for being the location of Hot Fuzz (certificate 15).

To celebrate all things cinematic about the City of Wells, Spend a Night on the Town will be hosting a free open-air screening of Hot Fuzz in the Recreation Ground (between Silver Street and South Street) at 9pm. All those over the age of 15 can come along for a great night out and try to spot all of the Wells locations that Hot Fuzz brought to the big screen.

Entrance to the Recreation Ground (via the main gate in Silver Street) will be on a ‘first come, first served’ basis (maximum capacity 500). Please note that if you are lucky enough to look under the age of 15, you may be asked for ID. Alcohol is not permitted.

Don’t forget to bring a blanket to sit on (no chairs please) and a torch to help you find your way home safely.

A designated area will be available for viewers with disabilities – please ask the marshalls on the night.

Dont panic if it rains! Plan B is for the film to be shown in the Bishop’s Barn (maximum capacity 200).

In the spirit of Hot Fuzz, rumour has it that prominent members of the Wells City Council are due to be specially arrested and tried by the Judge from 6pm on the night in question.

Pay a visit to the courtyard in Broad Street to find out who ends up in the stocks!
