I lived in an apartment at this intersection and was really shocked years ago, reading volume 2 of Scott Pilgrim, to see the view out my own window in the comic, Scott in a phonebooth talking to Knives. And now four years later you're shooting the movie on the exact same corner! Now THAT'S attention to detail!!

Agh! I was in Toronto for TCAF and miraculously stumbled upon the film crew filming this scene as they walked past Pizza Pizza yesterday. I nearly peed.

Man, living in Toronto, I lived off of Pizza Pizza. I actually really enjoyed it, until we moved away and came back for a visit. Now, well... Pizza Pizza is hit-or-miss at best now. Sometimes you'll luck into a slice at some weird random location and it will be awesome (I remember having good luck at the zoo), most times it tastes like something a school cafeteria might serve.

Although, after looking at that slice for a few minutes now, I could really go for some Pizza Pizza...

Lol, that was my first thought...ewww recycled pizza? Of coarse it isn't but that would be really gross..maybe slightly better then Chuck E Cheese's.....Man thats ALL they make there, you'd think it would be pizza like of some sort :).

I was in Toronto for one day to check out Ryerson University and York University and ended up accidentally driving through the location shoot. I was so impressed that there was still snow on the ground (clean and white, even) until I started seeing some TV's on carts and people shoveling the snow, then Edgar himself standing near the intersection I drove through. For about 30 seconds I wanted to find a place to park and see how close I could get. The unreasonable part of my brain didn't think they probably shut the street to pedestrians, and I was tempted to bring the Shaun of the Dead DVD I had brought for the trip and try to get Edgar to sign it.

I hope none of the actors had to sweat through a fairly hot day in winter clothing.

Despite it being a great canadian icon in scott pilgrim, Pizza Pizza is generally disgusting
