Sooner or later everyone goes to the zoo

I believe this is the original, superior DVD release with John Hughes commentary. Don't understand why it was pulled from the "special edition" release.


I also don't understand why there hasn't been a special edition release of "Career Opportunities".

I had an autographed (by Matthew Broderick, not John Hughes) VHS copy of this at one point, but have no idea where it is now.

I think there is a double meaning - day off, and secretly wanting to be a producer (and tap dancer).
I hope you put your hands behind your head like Matthew on the DVD cover / menu. A day off just isn't a day off if you haven't done that.
Monday is over where I am. Hope the day is running close enough to the schedule.
And yes - 'go' the DVD extras. Your projects have THE best extras. (Well, the best of any I have watched.)

Yikes - I just looked up the time zones. Monday is only bearly underway in Toronto! Role film! Everyone be patient. Edgar you should get "Trust Me" embroidered on your woolly hat, to promote calm on the set.

Or would it have the opposite effect?

Speaking of creepy/pervy stuff, I watched "Frenzy" today

I LOVED it - it was amazingly brilliant! And it really made me laugh - I wasn't really expecting that as I hadn't watched any Hitchcock films before and had got the box set of 14 Hitchcock films the other day but watched this second after "The Birds" (my dad told me it was really "original" but turned out to be... not as good as I'd hoped) then I remembered "Frenzy" was one of your favourites :)

(I'm a bit ashamed of that sentence so Edgar/Mr. Wright/whichever I should call you, if you are reading this, I apologise. But I'm tired.)

I think it represents Edgar's day off... but just by posting that, he's not really taking a day off, so it's a dichotomous post... then again, he has 9 more months to the year (and probably a couple more days off... one or two )... so he's already played that card and won't be able to again. :)

by the way sir, i saw some of an episode of Spaced in Japanese over here. Im glad to inform the guy voicing Pegg in japanese in it was better than the guy who voiced Pegg for Shaun!
