It’s almost photo time… but first…
This Sunday (5th April) I’ll be showing a double bill of Jackie Chan’s Police Story and Drunken Master 2 – considered by many to be his finest – come along to The Bloor from 7pm and decide for yourself!

- 9:30: Drunken Master 2 (Chia-Liang Liu, 1994)
Jackie Chan finds he can fight better while inebriated, in what’s frequently considered his best movie.
Edgar Says: Jackie Chan was always my kung fu hero. The martial arts Buster Keaton delivers here again in his groundbreaking (and glass shattering) classic Police Story and in the barnstorming sequel to Drunken Master. Come worship at the altar of Jackie.
For the truly hardcore ravers that were still there at close to midnight, I salute you with a Daisy special.

This Sunday i’ll be showing the complete series (all 14 episodes) at the Bloor Cinema in Toronto from 5pm (Remainder of the Wright Stuff season passes and priority seating for Spaced here).

Before Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, there was Spaced. Originally broadcast from 1999 to 2001 on the UK’s Channel 4, director Edgar Wright will be marking the series’ 10th anniversary with a marathon screening of all 14 episodes at Toronto’s Bloor Cinema – FREE for Bloor members and “The Wright Stuff” series passholders! (Six-month Bloor memberships will be sold for $3 at the door.)
Wright will be in attendance for an introduction and Q&A.
The marathon kicks off at 5:00 p.m on Sunday, March 22, and will include two intermissions.
Episodes are 24 minutes each.
